Latest on Hedges v Obama #NDAAruling – the fight continues

Chris Hedges attorney Carl Mayer explains the most recent ruling regarding the indefinite detention clause of the 2012 NDAA (most, if not all media, got this wrong):

“This is not a permanent stay, it’s a stay pending an appeal. It’s more procedural than anything. It was good news for Hedges because the case will be heard on an expedited basis. Normally it would take 1-2 years to be heard, now it will be within the next 3-4 months.”

This case may go to the Supreme Court; it allows military in our streets – which is unconstitutional.
